Welfare and Facilities for the Students

Tutorial / Remedial Class:

Poorly performer students are specially instructed in tutorial / remedial classes to overcome their shortcomings. Moreover special tutorial classes are held for the benefit of the unsuccessful students fot Part I , Part II and Part III.

UGC Network Resource Centre

The College has established UGC_NRC beside having seperate IT LAB and LAN

Grievances Redressal Cell :

There is Grievances Redressal Cell in the college to enable the students/teachers to convey their grievances through the coordinator of the cell to the authority.

Seminar and popular lecture :

Seminar and popular lectures are arranged by the college/departments for broadening student's field of knowledge and views and for strengthening their ability to express.Students have to attend / deliver seminar classes regularly arranged by the departments.

Gym facility :

The college has multigym complex equipped with modern instruments. Stuedents can use the facilities of gym as per college rule.

Scholarship:

There is provision for scholarship from ITDP for SC/ST/OBC students. The students have to collect scholarship form as when directed from the office of ITDP,Dudhnoi

Student Union Body :

There is a union body of students in the name and style "Student Union Body,Birjhora Mahavidyala" in which the Principal of the college is the President of the union body.Its membership is compulsory for every student of the college.There is a committe formed by the principal of the college to conduct the process of nomination of various posts like Cultural Secretary, Minor and Major Game Scretary etc. from the elected class representatives

Medical Camp :

The basic minimum health service is available to the students by a health center that is attended by a Medical Officer from time to time. In addition to this, general health checks up, popular lectures on health & hygiene, determination of blood groups etc. are conducted by t competent personalities.

Career and placement Guidance Cell

A career and placement guidance cell is there in the college to get first hand information regarding career opportunities and other related career guidance.

PG Correspondence School :

Birjhora Mahavidyala which is equipped with modern computer laboratories and qualified resource persons is allowed to set up study centre for PGDCA courses of Guwahati University under Post Graduate Coorrespondences School (PGCS) of the University.

IGNOU Study Centre :

An IGNOU study centre has been in offering at Birjhora Mahavidyala, Bongaigaon since 1992.Regular students degree courses of this college or other college can persue courses of IGNOU. There are 18 different available in here.There are Master Degree,Degree and Diploma courses activated in IGNOU study centre Bongaigaon.
