 Students of Mathematics Department can avail Computer facility for their Computer Programming paper in third year available at the Computer centre and Information Technology Lab., which are supervised by Mathematics and Statistics Department jointly.

Audio visual aids borrowed from IGNOU study center, located within the college campus, are also used occasionally for the benefits of the students.

8. Activities :

 

Department of Mathematics has been conducting the state level Mathematics Olympiad & Mathletics competition since 1995. A good number of students from different parts of the district are participating in the competition. Performance of the participants of Birjhora Mahavidyalaya center is remarkable. Many participants of this area were awarded by Assam Academy of Mathematics for securing positions in the competition. Mathematics Olympiad and Mathletics are competitions to create love and grow problem-solving culture among the students and teachers. Finally, Mathematics Olympiad is organized internationally to find out the best Talents in this field.
